V1 establishes a functional mechanical architecture. Later iterations add instrumentation and modular experimental controls only when they answer a defined research question.
Build and demonstrate the complete syringe → valve → chamber → distal head → atomizer pathway.
Add pressure / flow measurement and interchangeable flow-restriction inserts.
Use experimental evidence to evaluate geometry, flow behaviour, targeting and repeatability.
The V1 prototype is built to investigate the question.
